TENANTS SPEAK OUT
Local tenants speak up about the lack of maintenance of our local affordable housing supply. Funded almost entirely by the City of Kingston, the housing manager denies any remorse or responsibility.

TINY HOMES FOR KINGSTON
Habitat for humanity and the City of Kingston are working together to build tiny homes, for a not yet determined group. This is a good start to a much needed mixed housing landscape, which will potentially help some on the affordable housing waitlist.

PRICED OUT!
Despite a lowering vacancy rate, the cost of living and renting in the City of Kingston remains one of the highest in the country. Market research suggests an increase of rent cost of around 8% every year, making it impossible for the average and low-income to survive.

CITY'S
AFFORDABLE HOUSING MEASURE NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Despite the City's attempts to be building affordable housing, their affordability measure of 80% of market rent will not work for their target audience.
